Pastor Paul we miss you! |
Our hearts are filled with sorrow, but we rejoice knowing that you have gone to forever be with the Lord. New Breed will never be the same without you.
We miss your teachings, stories, laughter, smile, charisma, and most importantly your kind heart. Never judgmental and always fair, you treated us like your own children. You helped shape our lives to be who we are today and we will forever be grateful to you. Pastor Paul, you will be missed deeply. We have lost a father, a friend, and pastor.
We sit here waiting to see you gracefully get up from your chair and walk to the pulpit; Pastor we will miss you. We sit here waiting, listening to hear you talk about the faithfulness of God and the great things he has done in your life and the life of New Breed; Pastor Paul you will be missed. We sit waiting to hear you sing, anticipating that special part of the song where you scream “Jehovah”, but although we will never hear that again on this side of eternity, for those of us that had the privilege to hear you preach and sing, it was an honor and we thank you.
Pastor Paul you will forever be missed.
Pastor Paul we thank you for your untiring faithfulness of service to God and us and your example of personal purity. It was through your unique teachings and undying faithfulness to God that most of us gave our lives to Christ, we are most appreciative. We thank you for your leadership, friendship, and last but certainly not least your unending love. We thank you for your teachings, the engaging stories, the lively singing and occasional dancing. They will forever echo in our hearts.
Your passing deeply saddens us and has left us with an enormous responsibility, but we pray for wisdom, courage and God’s grace to continue the work which you have left in our hands. “At New Breed we do God, not church” as you’ll say, and by your words we shall continue the legacy that you have started.
When the sun rises each morning, we know you are dancing and singing in heaven. We will see you again Pastor Paul, we will see you again.
Good-bye father, Good-bye friend, Good-bye Pastor Paul.
Rest in Peace “Pastor P”.
